Visual indicator/scroll bar to know and navigate page position in Single Page view

I mainly view pdfs in Single Page view with the Show Pages Continuously option turned off. I find it convenient to be able to quickly move back and forth with the mouse scrolling, but I find the following stressful in use. - When viewing a pdf with hundreds of pages, it takes a moment to jump to a remote location (either by taking my hand off the mouse and typing in the page number, or by turning the Show Pages Continuously option on once, moving on, and then turning it off again). - This is mainly a problem with my attentiveness, but sometimes when viewing a pdf with several pages, the lack of scrollbars causes me to mistakenly think it is a one-page pdf only. When the Show Pages Continuously option is on, the scrollbars are visible and can be used to keep track of page position and make rough jumps, but they are not visible when the option is off. So, please make the scrollbar visible even when the Show Pages Continuously option is off, or implement other visual indicator (not sure if this is the right term) that can visually grasp the page position and make jumps with mouse. Thank you for your great software!
