Show facing pages in presentation and full screen mode
Viewing a document in full screen or presentation mode will default to a single page view. It is impossible to view a document with the pages side by side (facing, ctrl+7). I assume this behavior is copied from Acrobat but please, please, please, please, please stop doing this.
I am a publisher of comic books and get sent a lot of manuscripts and finished graphic novels as a pdf. These usually REQUIRE to be read as two pages at the same time.
American comics and Asian manga are made to be pre-published in magazines and single issue comic books. Artists never know whether pages end up on the left or the right side, neither do they know whether the page is paired with another page or with an advertisement. This is why all pages are created as stand-alone pages.
Most graphic novels and European comics on the other hand are not pre-published, so artists know in advance what pages will be paired and frequently use this knowledge by having pages interact. Not respecting this simply delivers a (sometimes significantly) subpar reading experience.
So please, do not copy the mistakes made by Acrobat, instead take your comic book readers seriously, and show facing pages in presentation and full screen mode whenever it is set.
