Publish in windows app store

That would be bad if it is the only way to install since I don't use Windows App Store. That would be a showstopper for me.

Please do not convert to App and leave the exe. Apps are fat, slow, they take up a lot of memory... The best thing about SumatraPDF is that it is super fast, lightweight, installs in seconds, starts instantly... At least keep publishing the .exe file too

I'don't see why this feature should be realized. I just uninstalled all Affinitiy .msix Installations simply to reinstall them as .msi Installations (luckily, they have been reintroduced by Serif after tons of user complaints)! The reson for this was, that the .msix Installation can not be startetd with a link from a picture viewer - I think that is something many of us need for SumatraPDF too. Serif had first published some ways to circumvent this problem, but it did not seem to work for all people. --- In addition, a heretical thought: Should we really be helping MS to provide Windows applications in a big black box, where the developers become dependent on the manufacturer? Earlier or later this will happen anyway - but _any_ App not in MS Store delays the process...

when can we install sumatrapdf from ms store? i have recently discovered winget install sumatrapdf

i hope sumatrapdf as app uwp in the ms store will come as soon as possible. i want to install it this way in my office so bad!

yes please. if sumatrapdf is in ms store, then installing, updating and distributing will be much easier. it's just one simple click.
