Keep view region when navigating

Is it possible to manually choose a "content" region to show, and keep the view region unchanged when navigating between files? It is very useful when navigating pages in a pdf that contents only one large picture per page( such as scanned documents), which usually has a fixed margin for all pages in picture, and the current "fit content" mode would only recognize the picture, and show the picture with margin.
