File-icon including the word PDF
It's too difficult for me to recognize (in Explorer > Small icons) which files are pdf or not. Please, make pdf files' icon look like the program's icon.

Thank you for trying to assist. However, the problem is that the FILE icon in my Win 10 (desktop) Explorer is not the same icon as the APP icon. Here is a screenshot of my FILE icon for pdf files:

RMB - open with - select SumatraPDF. You will see Sumatra yellow icon with PDF text inside for all PDF-files. Or assign SumatraPDF as default program for PDF documents.

Just enable file extension, sort by type and it should be obvious where the PDFs are
The answer was to install a different pdf handler and then install a new Sumatra. Now I have the proper PDF icon. Sorry I took your time.
